The Lantern Parade is almost here!
September 12 is right around the corner, and if you haven’t made your lantern yet, we’ve got you covered! There are still plenty of lantern workshops left before the big day, and there’s a workshop for every taste. Free up both hands for your red solo cups by joining us for the Lantern Hat workshop on Sunday, August 30 and wear your creation on your head! Bamboo forms and globe lantern workshops are still available, as well as a special Trees Atlanta Lantern workshop on Friday, August 28.
See the new Lantern House at Ponce City Market and hang out with the Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons, who will host the parade on September 12. Most workshops are family-friendly, but look for “grown-ups only” workshops on the schedule (you’ll need to bring your own refreshments!)
Check out photos from past lantern workshops here (and note how much fun they’re having). The full schedule of workshops is available at art.beltline.org/schedule. You can also take your own photos and share them with us using the hashtag #beltlineart.
See you at the parade!
