Arthur Langford, Jr. Park

A Neighborhood Park with Fun for Everyone

Arthur Langford, Jr. Park is located just a few blocks from the unpaved Atlanta BeltLine Southside Trail in the heart of the Joyland neighborhood. The park is named after the late Arthur Langford, Jr., who served as a member of the Atlanta City Council and the Georgia Senate and was the father of former First Lady of Atlanta Sara-Elizabeth Reed.

Get Rolling!

Atlanta’s second official skatepark, funded in part by a grant from the Coca-Cola Foundation, is designed for beginner-level skateboarders.

Have a Ball!

Lace ’em up for tennis, basketball and baseball—courts and fields are located within the park. The baseball fields are available to rent for special events. Visitors can also enjoy climbing structures and exercise equipment, provided with a grant from the Kendeda Fund.

Gather

The pavilion is open year-round, and it’s an ideal spot for a picnic, family reunion or just to get a little bit of shade.

Amenities

Benches, along with trash and recycling cans, are available throughout the park.
