Unpaved Trails

Experience Natural Connections on unpaved trails

The Atlanta BeltLine’s open unpaved trails are the perfect way to experience nature without ever leaving the city. These unpaved segments of the Atlanta BeltLine offer ample opportunities for hikers, walkers, bikers, and explorers to discover new ways to connect with Atlanta destinations.

  • The unpaved Westside Trail segment connects with the finished portion of the Atlanta BeltLine Westside Trail, offering friends and families convenient access to public art, shopping, and dining.
  • The unpaved portion of the Southside Trail is a 4-mile segment that connects the paved Eastside and Westside Trails.
  • The unpaved Northeast Trail segment connects with Piedmont Park and the Eastside Trail. This segment offers a longer stretch of trail – perfect for urban hikers and off-road bikers.
PLEASE NOTE: Open unpaved trails have no additional lighting, no pavement, and limited points of access. Visitors can enjoy these pleasant retreats at their own risk and are encouraged to wear appropriate footwear or use a bicycle that can handle rough terrain. Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. is not liable for any injury or damage as a result of using these unfinished trails.
