Located a few blocks south of the intersection of the Southside and Westside Trails, Perkerson Park is a gem nestled in the Capitol View neighborhood. The park is brimming with amenities, all under the shade canopy of huge oak trees.

Splash

Kids can cool off and frolic in the splash pad (open daily, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., from May 1 through October 1). The splash pad was installed thanks to the efforts of Atlanta City Council Member Joyce Sheperd, the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs, and the Atlanta BeltLine. The splash pad features granite sculptures by local artist Maria Artemis.
