On Saturday, June 16, 2012, the Historic Fourth Ward Park Conservancy will celebrate its Spring Fling! This is rescheduled from the original June 10 date due to rain that day. The Conservancy is a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the maintenance and security of the park. It should be a wonderful event, held for the first time in the park itself with performances in the open air theatre overlooking the lake, new Belgium beer, street food, kids’ activities, and prize drawings. Events run from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and are free and open to the public.
