Located on the first floor of the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership’s (ABP) Stoveworks offices with direct access off the Eastside Trail just south of Irwin St., the Atlanta BeltLine Center is a place where both BeltLine regulars and first-time visitors can come in off the trail, relax for a few minutes, and immerse themselves in the project’s past, present and future. It’s a place where people can learn about all aspects of the Atlanta BeltLine project – as well as ABP’s mission – through exhibits, interactive displays and programming that highlight the project’s history, scope and impact. Our partner organization Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. will use the Center as a place where their staff can engage with community members, and we will feature occasional presentations and programming from our many strategic partners.

With Great Appreciation

Funded exclusively through private donations – including lead funding from The James M. Cox Foundation and additional major support from Ponce City Market, PwC Charitable Foundation and MailChimp – the Atlanta BeltLine Center will also provide the first physical location to recognize the many foundations, corporations and individuals whose critical early philanthropic investments helped launch the BeltLine and whose continued contributions help leverage substantial public funding to deliver the full BeltLine vision.

Grand Opening Weekend

The Atlanta BeltLine Center officially opens to the public the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, April 28th and 29th. Operating hours both days will be 10:00 am – 7:00 pm. Admission is free. To facilitate attendance of Westside residents at the opening weekend celebration, ABP will offer free shuttle bus service on both days between the Center and KIPP Strive Academy. Scroll down for details on the shuttle bus service.

From 1:00 – 3:00 pm on both days of opening weekend, the Partnership will host a special celebration of their Supporter Perks program that provides donors with access to discounts and specials at a variety of Atlanta BeltLine businesses. Attendees who make a $25 contribution during these time periods will enjoy food and beverages from Bar Mercado, Varuni Napoli, Honeysuckle Gelato, Recess and King of Pops, Atlanta BeltLine-branded merchandise, and a full year of discounts at participating businesses.
