Below you will find recent updates and photos of each of our Atlanta Beltline projects in design or construction, along with links to get more general information about each project. These projects play a pivotal role in furthering the Atlanta Beltline vision to be the catalyst for making Atlanta a global beacon for equitable, inclusive, and sustainable city life.

Note that some projects have been removed to focus on monthly progress, and project expectations are subject to change due to unforeseen conditions. For the latest updates, visit their project pages.

Reminder: Active construction sites are dangerous, and entering the trail or park construction sites could result in serious injury. We understand that the community is excited about new trail sections—so are we! Operating heavy equipment, incomplete railings, security cameras and lighting not yet operational, and contaminated soils are some of the many reasons why job sites are hazardous. Thank you for your patience while we work toward their official openings.

Signage and Wayfinding

Design is in progress on a comprehensive signage and wayfinding update for the Beltline 22-mile loop. This project includes new regulatory, wayfinding, identification, and specialty signage, including signage for art, donor recognition, and the Beltline Arboretum. Etiquette messaging banners have been installed along the trail in many locations. Crews have started installing branded crosswalks around the 22-mile loop to improve the visibility of the crossings. The crossings at Westminster Drive, Kirkwood Avenue, and on the Westside Trail at Joseph E Boone Boulevard, Mayson Turner Road, and Law Street are complete. Additional locations are planned at Marietta Boulevard, West Marietta Street, and Kennesaw Drive before the FIFA World CupTM. Installation will continue across completed trail sections in the next few months and will be incorporated into future segments of the Beltline as they open.
