Southside Trail-Segments 4 and 5

Spanning 1.2 miles from Boulevard to Glenwood Avenue, the project involves a 14-foot-wide multi-use path with 3-foot soft shoulders on each side, with retaining walls, vertical connections to adjoining streets, storm drainage, replaced bridges, and more infrastructure.

A group of people cut a ribbon under a "Southeast Trail" banner during a sunny outdoor ceremony, surrounded by greenery and balloons.

Ramps at United Avenue, Mercer, and Ormewood Avenue are closed while railing work finishes.

Project Status

While mainline trail work is complete, ongoing railing work is happening at the United Avenue ramp, as well as the Mercer and Omrewood stairs/ramps.

Also, due to ongoing connection work between Southside Trail - Segments 2 and 3 and these segments, portions near Boulevard are still being worked on. Please follow the signs in the area and use the protected area to cross and use the adjacent Boulevard Ave. sidewalks.
