As a cornerstone of Atlanta’s urban redevelopment, Atlanta Beltline doesn’t just aim to catalyze growth but actively creates access to opportunities. To date, the Beltline has achieved 59% of its goal to create 50,000 permanent jobs. By providing workforce development support, the Beltline is connecting residents to quality jobs with career pathways.

Urban Forestry Career Pathways

A part of our workforce development support program, The Urban Forestry Career Pathways (UFOR) program offers specialized training for individuals interested in the growing field of urban forestry. This is a multi-phased job program that is focused on the continued preservation and beautification of the Atlanta Beltline, through the planting of trees. Applications are now open for the next cohort.

Funding for this project provided by the the Forest Service, an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, in partnership with Trees Atlanta.
