New Installation: “Work in Progress: An Honest Look at Fatherhood” by Atlanta Beltline Curator-in-Residence EuGene V. Byrd III
Location: 1200 White Street
Gallery owner, artist and Atlanta Beltline’s 2024 curator-in-residence EuGene V. Byrd III debuts “Work in Progress: An Honest Look at Fatherhood,” a deeply personal, yet universally resonant exploration of what it means to be a Black father. The project draws on Byrd’s own fatherhood journey while creating space for broader community reflection on lineage, legacy and self-definition. Learn more
2025 Calls for Art: Now Open
Public Exhibitions + Signature Events: Atlanta Beltline Art is currently accepting proposals from artists, collectives, and cultural producers for public exhibitions and one-of-a-kind events to take place along the Beltline corridor during the 2025–2026 program cycle. These activities may include artistic and cultural performances, events, exhibitions, and festivals and support the goals of fostering a sense of place and identity and creating a sense of belonging and pride. Artist Registry: Artists may apply for inclusion in the Pre-Qualified Public Art Artist Registry, which serves as a resource for future commissions across temporary and permanent projects. Beltline Public Art Advisory Committee: New Appointments Announced
Atlanta Beltline welcomes new members to its Public Art Advisory Committee, a volunteer body composed of arts professionals, community leaders, and cultural advocates who help guide the program’s curatorial direction. The committee plays a key role in upholding the program’s values of equity, representation, and public accessibility in the arts. Learn More

Tiny Doors ATL: 10-Year Anniversary Tour
Spring Dates: April 26, May 24, June 28
Location: Multiple sites along the trail
Artist Karen Anderson Singer commemorates a decade of Tiny Doors ATL with a six-date tour series that explores the evolution and cultural resonance of her iconic miniature installations. The public is invited to participate in artist-led talks, site visits, and interactive programming designed to celebrate the accessibility and joy at the heart of the project. Originating with one small portal, Tiny Doors has become a widely recognized part of Atlanta’s urban landscape, encouraging close observation, imagination, and neighborhood connection. Learn More
Atlanta Beltline Lantern Parade: 15th Anniversary
Date: Saturday, May 3, 7:30 p.m.
Location: Southwest Trail
The Atlanta Beltline Lantern Parade returns to illuminate the Southwest Trail for its 15th anniversary celebration. Created and presented by Chantelle Rytter and the Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons, the perennial favorite brings together thousands of people and hundreds of lanterns for an evening of creativity, community, and magic. Southeast Woodlands Stickball Summit
Date: Saturday, May 10
Location: Westside Park
For only the second time in more than 200 years, Indigenous stickball will be played by Native nations on traditional Muscogee land in the heart of Atlanta. Organized by Emory University’s Center for Native & Indigenous Studies in partnership with Atlanta Beltline, the Southeast Woodlands Stickball Summit offers the public a rare opportunity to witness and learn from a game deeply rooted in Southeastern Indigenous culture. Beyond sport, stickball functions as ceremony, storytelling, and survival—a tradition passed through generations and rich with symbolism. Learn More
A/V Radio Returns to the Beltline
Location: Eastside Trail, under the Freedom Parkway Bridge
Dates: May 17- 18, 31 | June 15, 21- 22, 28-29 | July 12-13, 19-20, 26-27
Since 2023, Ree De La Vega’s independent, off-the-grid radio station, A/V Radio, has had a home on the Beltline. Operating out of a transformed shipping container, the public sound studio offers a freeform, uncensored platform for musicians and DJs to express their unique tastes that don’t readily exist in mainstream radio. The 2025 series will continue to spotlight artists from Atlanta and beyond, all working at the intersection of sound, technology, and public space. Learn More

About Atlanta Beltline Art
Atlanta Beltline Art is the largest outdoor temporary art exhibition in the southeast, activating spaces along roughly 12 miles of the planned 22-mile corridor. The public art featured in the annual exhibition is carefully selected by an arts and culture expert jury and community members based on set criteria that aim to be as inclusive and equitable as possible. The linear gallery represents artists from across the region in a variety of mediums: sculpture, murals, dance, music, theater, photography, fashion, film and more. The Beltline welcomes over 2 million users a year, who are exposed to a number of art installations from the temporary and continuing exhibitions. To date, more than 90 projects have been commissioned as a part of the growing year-round collection.
