Beltline Public Art Advisory Committee

The Beltline Public Art Advisory Committee (BPAAC) reviews Atlanta Beltline Art’s jury-selected artists, external exhibition proposals, creative partnerships, and more.

Committee Requirements

BPACC membership is a two-year volunteer leadership opportunity for individuals who are passionate about public art, cultural programming, and community engagement throughout Atlanta BeltLine neighborhoods. Committee members play an important role in supporting the vision, planning, and evaluation of public art initiatives that enhance public spaces and celebrate Atlanta’s diverse communities and creative culture.

Members meet monthly to provide guidance, review proposals, and contribute expertise related to arts, culture, placemaking, and community impact. The committee helps ensure that public art projects along the BeltLine reflect the values, history, and identity of surrounding neighborhoods while supporting inclusive and accessible cultural experiences for residents and visitors.

Committee members are expected to actively participate in meetings, collaborate with fellow members and stakeholders, and support the ongoing growth of arts and cultural initiatives connected to the Atlanta BeltLine. Applicants should meet the following requirements:

  • Live in the City of Atlanta, preferably in a Beltline-adjacent neighborhood

  • Have a strong arts and culture background

  • Abstain from holding public office while serving

Applications for BPAAC are currently closed.
