Located a few blocks south of the intersection of the Southside and Southwest Trails, Perkerson Park offers over 50 acres of greenspace, trails and plenty of shade, all under a canopy of huge oak trees.

Park features include:

  • Rec center

  • Reservable pavilion

  • Outdoor grills

  • Public restrooms

  • Splash pad

Kids can cool off in the splash pad (open daily from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., May 1-October 1). The splash pad features granite sculptures by local artist Maria Artemis.
