Southside Trail | Joyland

Arthur Langford, Jr. Park

This nearly 10-acre greenspace is located just a few blocks south of the Southside Trail in the heart of the Joyland neighborhood. It is named after the late Arthur Langford, Jr., who served as a member of the Atlanta City Council and the Georgia Senate.

Get Fit, Go Climbing, and Have a Ball

A baseball field and tennis and basketball courts are all located within the park. Visitors can also enjoy climbing structures and exercise equipment. There is a rec center in the park and a pavilion for picnics, family reunions and other gatherings.

Develop Your Skateboarding Skills

Atlanta’s second official skatepark was designed for beginner-level skateboarders looking to hone their skills. It features ramps and other obstacles that will get riders ready to roll on to the more advanced challenges and bowls at the Historic Fourth Ward Skatepark on the Eastside Trail.
