Urban Forestry Career Pathways Program
Part of our broader workforce development efforts, this multi-phase program provides hands-on urban forestry training while directly contributing to the preservation and beautification of the Atlanta Beltline through tree planting and care.
Program Overview
Participants receive 10 weeks of paid, hands-on training featuring a customized curriculum, financial literacy education, and job search support. The curriculum evolves with the seasons, making every cohort’s journey unique.
A Visible Green Impact
Since launching in 2024, the program has empowered 51 participants and delivered measurable environmental results:
83 trees planted
1,246 trees serviced
5.4 acres of restoration work completed

Funding for this project provided by the the Forest Service, an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, in partnership with Trees Atlanta.
