The Atlanta Beltline is continuing its commitment to building a more equitable and inclusive Atlanta through a new partnership with Piedmont Healthcare and Google. Together, the organizations have launched a mobile health initiative that will bring Piedmont's Mobile Health Unit to Pittsburgh Yards® and other events along the Beltline, making free healthcare resources more accessible to communities across the corridor. 

Delivering Accessible Wellness 

The Mobile Health Unit will serve as a traveling wellness hub, providing preventive care, health screenings and resources to residents, particularly in some of Atlanta's most underserved neighborhoods. Already a familiar presence at Atlanta Beltline programs like Walk with a Doc, this expansion will help connect more people with the care they need. 

"Having Piedmont's mobile health unit out here at Pittsburgh Yards means that the Beltline isn't just a place to walk or bike," said Clyde Higgs, President and CEO of Atlanta Beltline, Inc. "It's becoming a true corridor of opportunity and well-being for the people who live here." 

Partnerships for Progress 

This program is supported in part by Google's continued investment in the Atlanta Beltline. To date, Google has contributed more than $1 million in combined grants to both Atlanta Beltline, Inc. and Atlanta Beltline Partnership. Those investments include public Wi-Fi installations along the corridor, the Atlanta Beltline Marketplace, the Legacy Resident Retention Program, and technology infrastructure ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup™.
