OCTOBER 26, 2026

When the air turns crisp and the leaves begin to change, there’s no better place to explore autumn in the city than the Atlanta Beltline. If you're looking for seasonal events, local shopping, cozy coffee stops, or even a lively stroll, there's no shortage of ways to bring in the season.

Here are a few ways to make the most of your fall along the Beltline:

Attend a Beltline Art event and experience Atlanta's creative spirit through public art, performances, and community events. Keep an eye out for seasonal events like Stylewriters Jam and Where the Weird Things Are, which celebrate local artists and creatives.

Catch an outdoor movie under the stars. From breweries to neighborhood gathering spaces, several destinations along the corridor host fall movie nights, catch a flick at Uptown Atlanta’s “Movies on the Lawn” on October 1 and November 5 near the Northside Trail or stop by Off the Wall @ 725 Ponce along the Eastside Trail for their free outdoor film series. Grab a blanket or lawn chair and settle in for an easy evening with friends or family.

Take a fall tour of Oakland Cemetery. Just a short walk from the Southeast Trail, Oakland Cemetery offers seasonal walking tours set against beautiful Autumn foliage, making it a perfect weekend activity.

Visit a pumpkin patch. Pick out your favorite pumpkin and snap a few Instagram-worthy photos at nearby spots like Atlanta Dairies or other community pumpkin patches popping up throughout the city.

Sip on a fall coffee special. Grab a pumpkin spice, maple, or apple-inspired drink from one of the many local coffee shops along the Beltline like Peoples Town Coffee Bar along the Southside Trail or Storyteller Goods near the Southeast Trail or Harbor Coffee along the Eastside Trail before heading out for a stroll.

Enjoy patio season. Fall is the perfect time to dine outdoors. Whether you're meeting friends for brunch, happy hour, or dinner, restaurants like Buena Vida Tapas Bar along the Eastside Trail or Patria Cocina near the Southside Trail offer incredible eats while enjoying the cooler air.

Browse a fall farmers market. Several farmers markets, like those at Ponce City Market and Piedmont Park, continue well into the fall, offering fresh produce, baked goods, flowers, and handcrafted items while supporting local growers and makers. October is also Women’s Small Business Month, making it a great time to shop from and support women-owned businesses.

Take a Beltline Tree Tour. As leaves begin to change, join a Trees Atlanta tour and discover the diverse tree canopy that lines the corridor. It's a meaningful way to enjoy fall colors while learning more about the historic trees that help define the Beltline.
