Public Meeting Advisory: Atlanta BeltLine Northeast Trail Construction Public Meeting December 8

WHAT: Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) will hold a Northeast Study Group public meeting with updates on the construction of the Northeast Trail.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: This meeting is open to all of the public, but is focused on the Northeast Study Group area, which includes residents of a portion of Sweet Auburn, Candler Park, Inman Park, Old Fourth Ward, Poncey-Highland, Virginia-Highland, Midtown, Ansley Park, Morningside/Lenox Park, Piedmont Heights, and Sherwood Forest.

WHEN: The meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 8 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: This meeting will be held virtually on Zoom and broadcast to www.facebook.com/atlantabeltline. ABOUT THE PROJECT: The northeast corridor is planned from the current end of the Eastside Trail at Monroe Drive up to the Lindbergh MARTA station. A portion of the multi-use trail is under construction and anticipated to open in an interim state in early 2021. That segment runs from behind Ansley Mall to just south of the Buford-Spring Connector.
