Participants Can Run and Walk to Support our Westside Neighbors

The Atlanta BeltLine Partnership announces its Virtual Westside 5K/8K/13K race. Runners and walkers can participate at their convenience in a reimagined fan-favorite and submit their best race times between July 11 and July 25 with the peace of mind of practicing social distancing.

Learn about the race and how to support beloved Atlanta BeltLine communities at www.beltline.org/westside5k.

  • 10% of race proceeds will go toward buying food items for the West End Family Life and Community Center pantry
  • Bring non-perishable dry goods donations (canned fruits/vegetables, rice/beans, oatmeal, water, etc.) when picking up your race packet at our contactless packet pickup event on Saturday, July 11 from noon – 7:00 pm at The Ke’nekt (1492 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd. in West End)
  • Patronize the many diverse retail, services, and food businesses around the Westside Trail

“We are focusing on safety by cutting out the crowds while increasing our commitment to BeltLine communities,” said Rob Brawner, Atlanta BeltLine Partnership executive director. “We encourage everyone who can to enjoy the Westside Trail, visit surrounding neighborhoods, and support the local BeltLine businesses that are so vital to our economy.”

As part of the Run.Walk.Go! experience, participants can strengthen neighborhoods along the Westside Trail by contributing to the food drive benefiting the West End Family Life and Community Center pantry.

Race entries support the important work of the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership to empower residents in BeltLine communities by helping connect them with affordable housing, jobs, and a healthy lifestyle.
