Public Meeting: Second Quarterly Briefing of 2019

WHAT: Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) will hold its second Quarterly Briefing of 2019.

WHEN: The meeting will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Friendship Baptist Church – 80 Walnut Street SW, Atlanta, GA 30314. This meeting is accessible via MARTA buses #3 and #94 and Vine City Station (.4 -mile walk). See itsmarta.com for a map and schedule. Please consider biking or walking if you are able. Free parking is available on site. You may also attend the meeting via livestream at facebook.com/atlantabeltline.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Quarterly Briefing meetings are open to everyone. Anyone interested in general updates about Atlanta BeltLine programs and projects is encouraged to attend.

ABOUT THE MEETING: Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) hosts quarterly public meetings meant to update the public on the latest Atlanta BeltLine progress. The second Quarterly Briefing of 2019 will include roundtable discussions on ABI’s Community Benefit Guiding Principles. Initially adopted in September 2010, ABI is initiating updates to the principles with the participation of neighboring communities.

The meeting will feature remarks from Dwayne Patterson, Vice President of Strategy and Engagement at Partnership for Southern Equity and Deborah Scott, Executive Director of GA Stand-Up. In addition, progress updates will be provided on trails, transit, parks, housing, and more. Meeting materials and opportunities for public feedback will be made available on the day of the meeting at beltline.org/meetings.
