The Atlanta BeltLine Team is extremely saddened to hear of the passing of Fulton County Commissioner Emma Darnell. Commissioner Darnell served on the Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. Board of Directors from July 2010 to July 2014 and played an integral role during some of the Atlanta BeltLine’s most transformative years. Her advocacy for environmental justice led to the development and adoption of ABI’s Environmental Justice Policy. She will be deeply missed, and our thoughts and condolences go out to her family, friends and loved ones.
