Public Meeting: Eastside Trail Extension Phase II

WHAT: Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) will hold a Southeast Study Group public meeting to update the community on the final stages of the second phase of the Eastside Trail’s southern extension.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: This meeting is open to all of the public but is focused on the Southeast Study Group area. The Southeast Study Group includes parts of Grant Park, Cabbagetown, Reynoldstown, Edgewood, Glenwood Park, Ormewood Park, Boulevard Heights, Chosewood Park, South Atlanta, and Peoplestown.

WHEN: The meeting will be held on January 28 at 6:30 p.m.

WHERE: Trees Atlanta – 225 Chester Avenue, SE, Atlanta, GA 30316. This location is accessible via the MARTA Inman Park/Reynoldstown Station and MARTA buses #21 and #107. ABOUT THE PROJECT: The second phase of the Eastside Trail’s southern extension expands the trail from its current terminus at Kirkwood Avenue to Memorial Drive. Included in this work will be work at the intersection of the trail and Memorial Drive. At this meeting, we will share the latest details about this work and the construction timeline.
