Public Meeting: Northeast Trail Design

WHAT: Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) will hold a Northeast + Northside Study Group public meeting to update the community on the Northeast Trail design process. This meeting will be an opportunity for the community to meet the consultants that have been selected to manage the design process.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: The Northeast Study Group includes parts of Sweet Auburn, Candler Park, Inman Park, Old Fourth Ward, Poncey-Highland, Virginia-Highland, Midtown, Ansley Park, Morningside/Lenox Park, Piedmont Heights, and Sherwood Forest. The Northside Study Group includes parts of Lindbergh/Morosgo, Garden Hills, Peachtree Hills, Ardmore, Collier Hills, Brookwood Hills, Berkeley Park, Home Park, Loring Heights, Blandtown, and Hills Park.

WHEN: The meeting will be held on November 8, 2018 at 6:30 p.m.

WHERE: Rock Spring Presbyterian Church – 1824 Piedmont Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA 30324. This location is accessible via MARTA bus #27 operating between the Lindbergh and Midtown MARTA stations. ABOUT THE PROJECT: The Northeast Trail is the segment of Atlanta BeltLine corridor between Monroe Drive and MARTA’s Lindbergh Station. Design will be done in coordination with ongoing Georgia Power work between Westminster Drive and Mayson Street. Design for Atlanta BeltLine trails includes the multi-use concrete path, retaining walls, vertical connections, stormwater management, signage, lighting, and accommodation for future light rail transit.
