Public Meeting: Subareas 9 & 10 Master Plan updates
posted in Press Releases // 09/13/18

WHAT: Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) will hold a Westside Study Group meeting for Subareas 9 and 10 Master Plan updates.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: This meeting is open to all of the public but is focused on the Westside Study Group area. The Westside Study Group includes residents of the Mozley Park, Ashview Heights, Booker T. Washington, Hunter Hills, Bankhead, Vine City, Washington Park, Knight Park/Howell Station, English Avenue, Rockdale, and Grove Park neighborhoods.

WHEN: The meeting will be held on September 17, 2018 at 6:30 p.m.

WHERE: Booker T. Washington High School – 45 Whitehouse Drive SW, Atlanta, GA 30314. This meeting is accessible by MARTA busses #1 and #68. See itsmarta.com for complete bus map and schedule.

ABOUT THE PROJECT: In 2007, master planning began by looking at the ½ mile on either side of the Atlanta BeltLine corridor to create a framework to support future growth and transit in the corridor. There are 10 distinct subarea masterplans for the Atlanta BeltLine and they are subject to periodic review and adoption by City Council.

The purpose of this meeting is to report out on findings from several public meetings throughout the spring and summer and help prioritize the draft final recommendations for land use (e.g. mixed use, housing, commercial services), mobility (e.g. trails, sidewalks, bikes, transit), parks and greenspace in BeltLine Subareas 9 and 10.
