BeltLine Walls Celebrates Family Day with Paint Love

On August 4, 2018, Art on the Atlanta BeltLine hosted Family Paint Day with nonprofit Paint Love. For an entire afternoon, families were invited to paint alongside some of Atlanta’s best muralists beneath the Lee St/Murphy Ave tunnel on the Atlanta BeltLine’s Westside Trail.

In the video below, Paint Love founder Julie Ann McKevitt talks about Family Paint Day, along with Miranda Kyle, Atlanta BeltLine, Inc.’s Arts & Culture Program Manager.

Family Paint Day was part of BeltLine Walls, a two-week-long mural festival for Art on the Atlanta BeltLine. As part of BeltLine Walls, several of Atlanta’s finest muralists painted the tunnel beneath Lee Street and Murphy Avenue. You can see the murals, as well as the rest of the visual and performing art, out on Atlanta BeltLine now. Click here to download the 2018 Art on the Atlanta BeltLine brochure.

A big thank you to Blick Art Materials in Midtown for generously donating supplies for Family Paint Day!
