posted in Press Releases // 06/18/18

WHAT: Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) will hold a Westside Study Group meeting for Subareas 9 and 10 Master Plan updates.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: This meeting is open to all of the public but is focused on the Westside Study Group area. The Westside Study Group includes residents of the Mozley Park, Ashview Heights, Booker T. Washington, Hunter Hills, Bankhead, Vine City, Washington Park, Knight Park/Howell Station, English Avenue, Rockdale, and Grove Park.

WHEN: The meeting will be held on June 25, 2018 at 6:30 p.m.

WHERE: Hagar’s Palace – 19 Joseph E Lowery Boulevard NW, Atlanta, GA 30314. This location is accessible via MARTA Ashby Station. See itsmarta.com for complete bus and map schedule. Please consider biking or walking, if you are able. Bike racks are available onsite. Limited free parking is available onsite.

ABOUT THE PROJECT: In 2007, master planning began by looking at the ½ mile on either side of the Atlanta BeltLine corridor to create a framework to support future growth and transit in the corridor. There are 10 distinct subarea masterplans for the Atlanta BeltLine and they are subject to periodic review and adoption by City Council.

In this meeting we will present the findings from an open house held on April 28 and receive your feedback on the draft recommendations for land use (e.g. mixed use, housing, commercial services), mobility (e.g. trails, sidewalks, bikes, transit), parks and greenspace.
