Public Meeting: Subareas 9 & 10 Master Plan Update

WHAT: Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) will hold two Westside Study Group meetings to facilitate a community design workshop as a part of the Subareas 9 & 10 Master Plan updates.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: The meetings are open to all of the public but are focused on the Westside Study Group area. The Westside Study Group includes residents of the Mozley Park, Ashview Heights, Hunter Hills, Bankhead, Vine City, Washington Park, Knight Park/Howell Station, English Avenue, Rockdale, Grove Park, Harris-Chiles, Mozley Park, Just Us, and Atlanta University Center.

WHEN: The Subarea 9 meeting will be held on April 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. and the Subarea 10 meeting will be held at 1:00 p.m.

WHERE: Mount Ephraim Baptist Church – 1202 West Marietta Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30318. This location is accessible via MARTA bus #26. Please consider biking or walking if you are able. Free parking is available on site.

ABOUT THE PROJECT: The Subareas 9 & 10 Master Plans were adopted in 2009 and 2010, respectively. This is an opportunity for the public to provide input on the existing plans as they relate to community design, land use, transportation facilities, existing streets and proposed streets, and parks and opens spaces. The format of the meeting will be as follows:

  • 10:00 a.m.- 12pm – Subarea 9
    • Presentation
    • Breakout sessions
    • Final question period
  • 1:00 p.m.- 3pm – Subarea 10
    • Presentation
    • Breakout sessions
    • Final question period
