Public Meeting: Advisory Boards Annual Public Presentation

WHAT: Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) hosts an annual public meeting featuring the Atlanta BeltLine Advisory Boards.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: This meeting is open to all of the public. Anyone interested in learning about the Advisory Boards should attend. The Boards include the Tax Allocation District Advisory Committee (TADAC) and the BeltLine Affordable Housing Advisory Board (BAHAB).

WHEN: The meeting will be held on April 17 at 6:00 p.m.

WHERE: Southface – 241 Pine Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30308. This location is accessible via MARTA Civic Center Station and Buses #16 & 40. Please consider walking or biking, if you are able. Bike racks are available. Free parking is available onsite.

ABOUT THE PROJECT: The Atlanta BeltLine Advisory Boards are comprised of citizens that advise ABI on matters related to the Tax Allocation District and Affordable Housing. TADAC and BAHAB will present an overview of the Board responsibilities, an update on 2017 progress, and avenues for citizen participation. Adena Hill, Invest Atlanta’s Westside and Choice Neighborhoods Program Manager will present an update on the City’s Owner-Occupied Rehab program. In addition, there will be an affordable housing discussion with:

  • Dwayne Vaughn, ABI’s new Vice President of Housing Policy and Development
  • David Jackson, Atlanta BeltLine Partnership’s Deputy Executive Director
  • William McFarland, Relationship Manager, Georgia ACT
