Public Meeting Advisory: Subarea 3 Master Plan Update

WHAT: Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) will hold a Southeast Study Group meeting to discuss the Master Plan update process for Subarea 3, as well provide an update on the transit-oriented development (TOD) framework for Chosewood Park.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: The meeting is open to all of the public but is focused on the Southeast Study Group area. The Southeast Study Group includes parts of Grant Park, Cabbagetown, Reynoldstown, Edgewood, Glenwood Park, Ormewood Park, Boulevard Heights, Chosewood Park, South Atlanta, and Peoplestown.

WHEN: The meeting will be held on March 1 at 6:30 p.m.

WHERE: Church of Atlanta Lighthouse – Fellowship Hall: 1380 Boulevard SE, Atlanta, GA 30315. This location is accessible via MARTA bus #49. See itsmarta.com for complete bus map and schedule. Please consider biking or walking, if you are able. Free parking is available on site.

ABOUT THE PROJECT: We are seeking community input on the Subarea 3 Master Plan Update process. We will be evaluating the original plan recommendations, examining existing conditions with regards to land use, zoning, mobility, greenspaces, etc. and highlighting what has occurred in the community since the Master Plan was adopted.

Additionally, this meeting will provide an update on the Chosewood Park Framework TOD process. The objective of the Chosewood Park TOD Framework is to analyze the best methods for accommodating future growth with sustainable and Transit-Oriented Development.
