PROJECT: Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. is constructing the Eastside Trail extension from the trail’s current terminus at Irwin Street to Kirkwood Avenue. As part of this work, the underground stormwater structure beneath the area will be rehabilitated, and a new storm line will connect to the structure. In addition, a speed table will be installed at the intersection of the Eastside Trail and Kirkwood Avenue as a traffic calming measure to facilitate safer crossing where the trail meets Kirkwood.
