Reynoldstown Senior Now Accepting Applications

Reynoldstown Senior Residences is an independent-living, affordable senior housing facility servicing residents 62 years and older. Reynoldstown Senior was funded in part by a $1.5 million BeltLine Affordable Housing Trust Fund grant. The development is a result of a partnership between Mercy Housing, the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, the City of Atlanta, Invest Atlanta, and the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. The property is located in the heart of the historic Reynoldstown neighborhood which is one block from the future Eastside Trail extension.

Reynoldstown Senior is now accepting leasing applications for the available units. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first serve basis for limited income seniors at the Lang Carson Recreation Center. Please visit Mercy Housing’s website or call 404.975.4291 for an application and more information on this development. Applications will NOT be taken at the construction site.

The affordable housing units are part of a broader multi-faceted housing strategy that works toward creating housing for a mix of incomes and ages around the Atlanta BeltLine. Reynoldstown Senior allows for “aging in place,” to help ensure senior citizens are able to stay in the neighborhoods they call home. The Atlanta BeltLine affordable housing program seeks to make city living financially attainable for both renters and homeowners. ABI has implemented an Integrated Action Plan which is looking to create 5,600 units of affordable housing over twenty-five years.
