Run.Walk.Go!

The Atlanta BeltLine Partnership is celebrating the fifth year of its popular race events with a new look and emphasis on both running and walking. Featuring two 5Ks, an 8K and a 10K, the Atlanta BeltLine Run.Walk.Go! Series invites people of all fitness levels to join the fun and festive atmosphere.

“With nearly 10,000 participants to date, the Atlanta BeltLine races have become a valuable fitness and social opportunity for runners and walkers of all fitness levels. These run/walk events also give Atlantans a unique way to visit some of the city’s most beautiful and historic communities, all within a fun, festive atmosphere,” said Atlanta BeltLine Partnership Executive Director Chuck Meadows.

People who register for all four races will receive a 20 percent discount on registration fees, and Atlanta BeltLine members at the sustaining level and up receive a hefty 50 percent discount off of registration. Details are available at beltline.org/races.

Key events in the 2015 Atlanta BeltLine Run.Walk.Go! Series include:

  • Northside 5K – April 25, 2015
    A run/walk on the Atlanta BeltLine Northside Trail through Tanyard Creek, Louise G. Howard, and Ardmore Parks and along streets in the beautiful Collier Hills, Collier Hills North, and Ardmore Park neighborhoods.
  • Southwest 5K – July 11, 2015
    A scenic run/walk along Atlanta BeltLine trails through Southwest Atlanta’s historic neighborhoods.
  • Southeast 8K – September 26, 2015
    A run/walk connecting Boulevard Crossing Park, D.H. Stanton Park, Chosewood Park, and Grant Park as it winds through hilly Southeast Atlanta.
  • Eastside 10K – December 5, 2015
    A run/walk showcasing the Eastside Trail through Inman Park, Midtown, Old Fourth Ward, Poncey Highland, and Virginia Highland.
