Thanks to Creative Loafing for 2 Best of Atlanta Awards!

It is an honor to once again be recognized by the staff and readers of Creative Loafing, our indispensable intown alternative weekly paper. Since the inception of the Atlanta BeltLine, Creative Loafing has covered the project consistently and thoroughly, serving as a critical source of information for the public. We appreciate Creative Loafing’s coverage – all of it – and look forward to many more years of the Atlanta BeltLine and Creative Loafing making the City of Atlanta a better place.

This year, the staff picked the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail as “Best New Shiny Pretty Thing.” Money quote:

The Eastside Trail “isn’t just a pretty bike trail. The path, which abuts Ponce City Market and Historic Fourth Ward Park, has helped attract more than six new dense developments with several thousand new housing units and create a buzz around the area between Ponce de Leon Avenue and Freedom Parkway – a vibrant pocket which could become the example of what the Beltline could look and feel like in the decades to come.”

Readers once again picked the Atlanta BeltLine as “Best New Thing.” We hope to be the “Best New Thing” for years to come! Thank you!
