What Are You Doing This Summer? Graduate Students Wanted for Fellowships!

Can you imagine gaining critical, on-the-job experience with one of the country’s most exciting urban redevelopment projecst, working alongside the Atlanta BeltLine staff? We’re looking for  graduate students to work with all levels of our team for the summer semester. Our Fellowship Program seeks to provide temporary, part-time invaluable work experience. Over the past several years, we’ve been fortunate to have wonderful Fellows on whom we depend to help us realize the Atlanta BeltLine vision.

The Atlanta BeltLine Fellowship is designed to provide clerical, administrative, technical and general support to ABI staff. This professional will directly support the Director or Senior staff member in one of several disciplines including:

  • Affordable Housing
  • Public Art
  • Communications
  • Community Engagement
  • Construction
  • Economic Development
  • Engineering
  • Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
  • Real Estate
  • Transit and Transportation

Our Fellows work very closely with staff and receive direction to ensure objectives are achieved and deadlines are met. This role involves frequent interaction with various levels of internal and external contacts, assistance with projects, and continuous improvement of ABI’s systems.

We are seeking candidates that can work a minimum of 20 hours per week. Work schedules are flexible to accommodate class schedules and will be set upon hiring and are flexible to accommodate class schedules. Occasionally, Fellows will need to attend evening meetings.

College credit may be given depending upon your institution and letters of recommendation may be provided upon successful completion of the fellowship.

  1. Hi! My name is Adair Garrett and I’m a first year environmental engineering major at Georgia Tech. I’m really interested in becoming involved in the Beltline this next semester and the following summer- either in terms of research, an internship, or volunteering. I’d love to become more involved in any way I can. Thank you!
