Public Meeting Advisory: Citywide Conversation: Beltline Transit Study

On Thursday, August 12th, Atlanta Beltline is hosting a virtual Citywide Conversation public meeting on the Beltline Transit Study

WHAT: Atlanta Beltline will host a virtual Citywide Conversation public meeting to share the final draft recommendations from the Beltline Transit Study. Launched in 2023, and supported by the Federal Transit Administration, this two-year study aims to advance transit in Atlanta by identifying preferred routes and stations along the Beltline that will improve regional connectivity and ensure equitable transportation options for all.    

WHEN: The meeting will be held virtually on Thursday, August 12th from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. 

WHERE: The meeting will be held on Zoom and livestreamed to the Atlanta Beltline Facebook page. WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Citywide Conversations are open to everyone. Anyone interested in learning more about transit planning and interested in asking questions about Atlanta Beltline programs and projects are encouraged to attend. 

ABOUT THE MEETING: During the meeting, the final draft recommendations for transit alignments and station locations in the Northwest and station locations in the Southwest, and Southeast quadrants of the Beltline will be shared. Attending will enhance your understanding of the study and inform the locally preferred alternative as we aim to achieve our goals of connectivity, sustainability, equity & inclusion, and implementation & operations. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions via Zoom, telephone, and Facebook.  Meeting materials and opportunities for public feedback will be made available on the day of the meeting at beltline.org/meetings.
