The Atlanta Beltline has once again been selected as one of Atlanta Business Chronicle's Best Places to Work in 2025, marking another significant milestone for the people-powered project in its 20th year. This distinction among top-performing organizations in the region is determined through employee surveys measuring engagement, work environment, leadership and other workplace factors.
“Being named as one of the Best Places to Work in Atlanta for a second time signals the start of a trend that we’re proud to build upon. This achievement is a direct reflection of the 70+ team members who bring passion and purpose to their work each day – driving progress to advance and surpass our goals for affordable housing, trails and parks, and economic growth,” says Clyde Higgs, President & CEO of Atlanta Beltline, Inc. “The culture we continue to cultivate is one where every team member is valued, respected, and empowered, which fuels our collective impact in making Atlanta a global beacon for equitable, inclusive, and sustainable city life”.
The Atlanta Beltline stands as one of the nation’s most ambitious and wide-ranging redevelopment initiatives, linking more than 45 neighborhoods together in a 22-mile loop of multi-use trails, transit, parks, and affordable housing. With equity and inclusion as core values, the Beltline is working to ensure the benefits of the Beltline reach all Atlantans starting from within.
“Building a city where businesses succeed, jobs are created, and economic prosperity is shared requires that we lead by example and foster a workplace where people from all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences can thrive,” said Chief People & Impact Officer, Nonet Sykes. “At the Beltline, we invest in inclusive talent acquisition and meaningful operations that ensure everyone has a voice in shaping the future of the project, just as we welcome residents to actively participate.”
The Best Places to Work Awards celebrate local employers that have demonstrated a commitment to building workplace cultures that go above and beyond. Based on third-party employee surveys conducted by Quantum Workplace, the rankings evaluate the success of factors like team dynamics, trust in leadership, communication, and overall engagement. The top-scoring companies were honored by the Atlanta Business Chronicle on August 28, 2025, at its annual Healthiest Employers and Best Places to Work Reception.
