Atlanta Beltline Art Secures Continued Support from Key Arts Funders
Atlanta Beltline Art’s exhibition year is made possible through the continued investment of both public and private partners who recognize the program’s role in shaping Atlanta’s cultural landscape. Two longstanding arts champions have renewed their commitments for the 2025–26 fiscal year: the Georgia Council for the Arts, which awarded the Beltline its maximum project grant of $5,000, and Fulton County Arts & Culture, which contributed $16,000. Additionally, private partners such as The Atlanta Foundation, Cox Enterprises, Delta Air Lines, Norfolk Southern, Northside Hospital and Ponce City Market also reinforced their support, collectively contributing $135,000 for this program year. These investments will help fund artist commissions, community programming and public art installations along the trail, ensuring that art remains accessible to residents and visitors throughout the year.

Thriving Together Atlanta Mural Project - Westside Beltline Mural Installation & Unveiling

The Beltline installation will be unveiled in early October following a series of community events and a public installation process. Thriving Together Atlanta is funded by Bloomberg Philanthropies and presented in collaboration with the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs, the National Black Arts Festival, Out of Hand Theater, and the Atlanta Beltline. Where the Weird Things Are: An Upside Down Parade Presented by Chantelle Rytter and the Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons
From the creator of the beloved Atlanta Beltline Lantern Parade comes another magical community celebration. Chantelle Rytter and her Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons will return to the Beltline this fall with "Where the Weird Things Are,” a special Halloween experience that brings together local folklore, giant mythical creatures and their stories. Unlike a typical parade, the “upside down” format keeps the parade participants in place as spectators move around them. Attendees will stroll around the pond of Historic Fourth Ward Park to experience the puppet line-up or, as with the Lantern Parade, may join in with their own “weird” creations. The immersive experience will feature live music from Atlanta’s Black Sheep Ensemble. "Where the Weird Things Are” is made possible through the generous support of the Power for Good Foundation. About Atlanta Beltline Art
Atlanta Beltline Art is the largest outdoor temporary art exhibition in the southeast, activating spaces along roughly 12 miles of the planned 22-mile corridor. The linear gallery represents artists from across the region in a variety of mediums: sculpture, murals, dance, music, theater, photography, fashion, film and more.
