Interim Trails

Experience Natural Connections on interim trails

Atlanta BeltLine interim trails are the perfect way to experience nature without ever leaving the city. These unpaved future segments of Atlanta BeltLine offer ample opportunities for hikers, walkers, bikers, and explorers to discover new ways to connect with Atlanta destinations.

The Northeast Interim Trail connects with Piedmont Park and the Eastside Trail. This segment offers a longer stretch of trail – perfect for urban hikers and off-road bikers. The Westside Interim Trail connects with the finished portion of the Atlanta BeltLine Westside Trail, offering friends and families convenient access to public art, shopping, and dining. The Southside Interim Trail is a newly opened, 4-mile interim segment that connects the Eastside Trail with the Westside Trail.

Enjoy the Northeast and Southside interim corridors that feature continuous miles of trail suitable for walking/hiking, jogging, and biking.

Shop & Dine

The Northeast interim trail also connects to the shops and restaurants at Amsterdam Walk.

The Northeast interim trail is accessible from the paved trails that wind through the Piedmont Park dog park, Legacy Fountain Splash Pad, and the entrance to the Atlanta Botanical Garden.
