South Atlanta

Historic South Atlanta has a rich history of higher education, performing arts and community development. The community was established in the late 1880’s around original campuses of Clark University and Gammon Theological Seminary. Today, it is a neighborhood on the rise and is a short distance from D.H. Stanton Park and Chosewood Park, greenspaces that each offer many amenities.

Southside Trail

Currently, the majority of the Southside Trail is open as an unpaved, interim trail, providing connectivity between the paved Eastside and Westside Trails on the southernmost part of the Atlanta BeltLine loop. A 0.8 mile section on the western side is under construction and closed to pedestrians and bikes until complete.
