Oakland City

As one of the many officially designated historic neighborhoods in Atlanta, Oakland City became part of the city in 1910. Bush Mountain sits in the middle of the neighborhood, and it was the only part of the area where black families were permitted to live in the early 1900s. Perkerson Park, Rose Circle Park, and Gordon White Park are nearby greenspaces.
