Neighbor in Need (East Lake, Kirkwood, Edgewood)

Neighbor in Need is a nonprofit organization that provides critical home repairs for low-income seniors living in the East Lake, Kirkwood, and Edgewood neighborhoods of Atlanta. We are 100% volunteer run so all money raised goes directly into action to keep our elderly safe, warm and dry. All of the work we provide is performed by quality licensed and insured home services contractors that offer us large discounts to help stretch the budget as far as possible. Typical repairs include HVAC repairs and replacements; accessible showers and bathroom repairs; roof/soffit repairs and replacements; plumbing repairs and waterline replacement; tree trimming and removal; windows, siding trim, and other exterior repairs; electrical repairs and whole house rewires; kitchen repairs (sinking floors, falling cabinets); and fences, stairs, decks, and wheelchair ramps.
