Funding to Finish the Beltline
Created in 2021, the Special Service District (SSD) will provide approximately $100 million to help complete the 22-mile loop. It also resulted in an additional $100 million in philanthropic contributions and an anticipated $50 million in grants and other sources.

The Atlanta Beltline Special Service District (SSD) is the culmination of years of collaborative effort and unwavering support from key stakeholders.
The Atlanta Beltline Partnership and Atlanta Beline, Inc. led a collaborative effort between a steering committee of dedicated property owners, philanthropic funders, and political leaders to shape the SSD's framework.
As part of the SSD, commercial and multi-family property owners in the Atlanta Beltline Planning Area pay slightly more in property taxes. Those funds go toward completing the trail, spurring even more economic growth and investment around the corridor.
