Design & Construction
Bike Park at Shirley Clarke Franklin Park
Once the project is fully funded and out of design, the Bike Park at Shirley Clarke Franklin Park will be one of the most unique and inclusive biking facilities in Atlanta, featuring 2.25 miles of mountain bike trails catering to various skill levels, a pump track, a bicycle playground, jump lines, a skills course, and hiking trails.

The Atlanta Beltline Partnership is still raising funds to complete the Bike Park, a space where riders of all ages can ride, explore, and have fun.

Project Status
ABP has recently confirmed an $8M donation, bringing the total funding raised for the project to $9M. This funding will cover the first phase of work with fundraising required to complete the entire project and all desired elements and phases of work.
We now have the contract with the Construction Manager at Risk (Reeves Young). We have had preliminary meetings with the City of Atlanta permitting and will begin permitting after the 90% drawings are received in early August. A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for January 22, 2026.
