LAND ACQUISITION & DEVELOPMENT

425 Chappell Road

A Vision for an Affordable Community

The 31+ acres at 425 Chappell Road in the Bankhead/Historic Westin Heights neighborhoods is the Beltline’s largest land acquisition to date. The site sits adjacent to 30 acres of City of Atlanta-owned property. The Beltline is closely coordinating with the City of Atlanta and Invest Atlanta to create an intentional development plan that prioritizes affordable housing and commercial space, and supports small businesses and connectivity.

A Hub for Affordable Living

Located in the Bankhead/Westin Heights neighborhood, 425 Chappell Road NW is situated near the Bankhead MARTA station and near a planned segment of Atlanta Beltline's Westside Trail. The site is being master planned as an intentional development that prioritizes affordable housing. MARTA's plans for a transit-oriented development at the Bankhead station and affordable commercial, retail, and living spaces are on tap as the historic area becomes a vibrant crossroads of activity.
