Citywide Conversation: Historic and Cultural Resource Study Open House

Please join the Atlanta Beltline Inc. (ABI) for an open house at the next Citywide Conversation for the Historic and Cultural Resource Study. This open house will be hosted at the Oakland Cemetery Bell Tower from 11:00am - 2:00pm on Saturday, December 6. Participants are asked to stop in anytime during the 3-hour window to share their input at each interactive station, engage with subject matter experts, and help shape the final report for the Historic and Cultural Resource Study. Oakland Cemetery will be holding their Holiday Spirit Festival from 10am - 5pm on Saturday and we encourage folks to attend the open house and take part in the festival.
Stations will encourage participants to brainstorm ideas to celebrate historic and cultural resources on the Beltline, demonstrate their values for resource preservation, and help the Beltline prioritize potential actions and next steps.
Transportation options include:
Easy .25 mile walk from the King Memorial MARTA Station
Convenient MARTA bus access via stops on route 9 and 21
Cycle track along Memorial Drive and bicycle parking on site
Free parking on site (342 M.L.K. Jr Drive SE) or off street
Light refreshments will be served. There will also be a virtual open house from December 8 - 14 for community members that are not able to participate in person. The virtual open house link is forthcoming.
