Your Property Tax Assessment & How to File an Appeal Help Session

Did you recently receive your 2022 Fulton County property value assessment and estimate of taxes due later this year? Do you have questions about the assessment or the information in the letter? You may have the option to appeal the assessment if you believe it is unfair. Most importantly, are you aware of the 45-day window during which you can appeal your assessment?
If this sounds like you, the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership, the Atlanta Legal Aid Society, and the Grove Park Foundation, are partnering to conduct a series of free workshops designed to get you the help you need.
The first session on July 13 will be informational only, designed to help you understand your property tax statement and the options available if you want to appeal. This session will be held in person or virtually. Register for in-person or virtual attendance here.
On July 16, July 20 and July 27, volunteers will provide hands-on assistance to those filing an online appeal.
