Atlanta BeltLine’s Third Quarterly Briefing taking place on Thursday, September 14, 2023, will celebrate Hip Hop’s 50th Anniversary. We will host this year’s Third Quarterly Briefing as a hybrid meeting. The first segment will be a moderated conversation focusing on Hip Hop’s influence on Atlanta from the past 50 years with Phillana Williams, the City’s Director for the Mayor’s Office of Film, Entertainment and Nightlife; Clyde Higgs, President & CEO of ABI; Zaytoven, Atlanta Producer; Rachel Jackson, YouTube Artist Relations/Partnership Manager; and Bem Joiner with Atlanta Influences Everything. The second segment will highlight ABI’s wide projects and wrap with questions/answers from the audience.
* Update as of Sept. 14: due to a scheduling conflict, Phillana Williams will be representing the City of Atlanta on the panel in lieu of Mayor Dickens.
We have reached capacity for the meeting venue. In-person registration has closed. We do apologize for the inconvenience. We encourage you attend virtually via Zoom, Facebook Live, Instagram Live, and Youtube Live.
