Run.Walk.Go! Weekly Run Club Meetup

January 23 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every month that begins at 6:30 pm on day Fourth of the month, repeating until October 22, 2020

Our Run.Walk.Go! run club meetups are back and better than ever in 2020! Along with our good friends at the Atlanta Track Club, we’ll be hosting club meetups every Thursday of the month in 2020 rather than just once a month. That’s right, R.W.G! Clubbers, each Thursday of the month you’ll have a chance to run on a different section of the Atlanta BeltLine trail – Eastside, Westside, Southside and Northside!

This week we’re heading over to the Southside Interim Trail. We’ll meet at 6:30 – 6:45 on the patio at Eventide Brewing and head out at 7:00 pm for a 2- or 4-mile fun run on the trail. Runners and walkers of all levels, strollers (with kids in ‘em even) and pets are all welcome! Discounted sips and bites will be waiting for us upon our return and you’ll even have a chance to win some cool stuff in our post-run raffle. Our meetups are free and open to everyone – no registration needed – just show up. It’s a great way to stay in touch with your running buddies and even meet some new ones so come on out!

Special thanks to the Atlanta Track Club for leading these runs for us, to Resurgens Orthopaedics for sponsoring our run club program and to Eventide for being such gracious hosts!

Note: Please keep in mind that the Southside Interim Trail is currently unpaved. The running surface is mostly packed dirt with some small gravel and loose sand. If you prefer a smooth, paved surface for your runs, join us for our meetups on the Eastside, Westside and Northside Trails (1st, 2nd and 3rd Thursdays of every month, respectively).

COVID-19 Response

At Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) and Atlanta BeltLine Partnership (ABP), the health and safety of our participants, volunteers and staff is our top priority. In support of broader public health efforts to contain COVID-19 and protect our community, ABI and ABP are suspending all in-person programming until further notice.
