PolyRhythmiQ Juneteenth Weekend Fest

Art on the Atlanta BeltLine’s 2021-2022 Curator-in-Residence, museSalon Collaborative will host PolyRhythmiQ Juneteenth Weekend Fest at Gordon White Park on Saturday, June 18 from 11:00am – 7pm. 

The festival’s day-long activities will include morning yoga, a family-friendly, Afro-Brazilian martial arts, or Capoeira,workshop, concerts, theatre, and more. 

The highlight of the festival will be the world premiere of “Claiming a Black Future,” a new song composed by museSalon founder Malesha Taylor and Salah Ananse, featuring the Atlanta Music Project Summer Series Choir and Okorie Johnson on cello.  

EVENT SCHEDULE:

  • 11 am- Malesha + Charisse Williams- yoga
  • 12 pm-  Low Country Capoeria Class
  •   2:00pm –  Kebbi Williams and Wolf Pack
  •   2:30pm – True Colors Theater
  •   3:00pm-  Atlanta Music Project
  •   3:30 – Okorie Johnson
  • 4:00pm- Salah Ananse til close
