This lantern workshop is hosted by Chantelle Rytter and the Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons for the Atlanta BeltLine Lantern Parade on September 22, 2018! The lantern parade is a creative community collaboration, and your participation is what makes the magic! Read more about the Lantern Parade here.
These are the easiest lanterns to make! We will be tricking out paper globe lanterns with colored paper, glue, and markers. You can easily finish your globe lantern in an hour or you can luxuriate with fabulous details! Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. It is best for kids who have mastered scissors, approximately 7 and up. All materials, light, and batteries included. Tickets can be purchased here and cover the creation of one lantern. Tickets help fund the parade and are non-refundable. Please do your best to be on time to enjoy the introduction.
