Kids Lantern Making Workshop & Parade

Have kiddos that can’t make it to the late-night Atlanta BeltLine Lantern Parade? Join us at Pittsburgh Yards^®  for a family-friendly afternoon of lantern making led by The Happy Black Parent and Pittsburgh Community Market!

Starting at noon, get creative at the free children’s lantern-making workshop station. While you’re there, stop by the Pittsburgh Community Market to shop local businesses, food vendors, and more.

Then, join us at 6:00 p.m. for a kids’ parade, led by Atlanta Ol Skool Drummers, around Pittsburgh Yards and a portion of the Atlanta BeltLine to showcase your creations.

Attendance at the market does not require a reservation, but please RSVP via Eventbrite if you plan to make lanterns and participate in the children’s parade to ensure we have enough supplies.
